Jack Grealish responds to Trent Alexander-Arnold's Liverpool question

Aston Villa star Jack Grealish has responded to Trent Alexander-Arnold following his Liverpool heroics.

The Reds right-back scored the winning strike in a 2-1 victory in the Premier League on Saturday, with Mohamed Salah bagging the other goal at Anfield.

Alexander-Arnold has come in for plenty of criticism in recent weeks, following his omission from Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad.

The topic of Alexander-Arnold’s inclusion in the upcoming European Championships this summer caused an intense debate between Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.

Southgate was at Anfield to watch Liverpool beat Villa, but one player who was not involved was Grealish.

The Villa captain is currently sidelined with a shin injury, but responded to a post from Alexander-Arnold on Instagram.

The Liverpool full-back posted a picture of himself celebrating after scoring his winning goal, accompanied by the caption: “Are you not entertained?”

Grealish replied to Alexander-Arnold’s post by just putting a crying emoji followed by a laughing face emoji.

Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez recently said that Liverpool were “lucky” to win with Alexander-Arnold’s winning goal.

“I don’t think we deserved to lose at the end of this game,” Martinez told AVTV.

“We played really well, we defended as a unit, little bit lucky with the first goal, we had some chances to go ahead in the game again, we didn’t take them.

“I thought the game management was a little bit poor at times. And they got lucky with a good finish at the end.”
