Jack Grealish refuses to rule out Aston Villa exit amid Tottenham and Man United transfer links

Jack Grealish has opened up on his Aston Villa future following his side's 1-0 win over Arsenal amid transfer links with Manchester United and Tottenham.

The attacking midfielder has been linked with United and Spurs and his future was naturally a talking point post-match after what could have potentially been his final game at Villa Park.

Villa pulled off an important victory thanks to Trezeguet's goal in the opening half hour, with the hosts holding on to claim three valuable points.

Asked about whether it was his final game at Villa Park afterwards, Grealish told Sky Sports: "I'm not sure to at the moment. I have one aim and that's to keep the club in the Premier League. That's all I'm thinking about at the moment and that's all I can think of."

Homegrown Harry Kane is the ‘special one’ for Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham

Grealish's comments perhaps lend credence to the view that he might be leaving Villa this summer but one thing's for certain, the 24-year-old is firmly focused on one job at the moment.

"It would mean everything to me (to stay up). Since we have been back I haven't been as effective.

"Not one bit. Pressure is a privilege. I'm probably not as fit as I was before the break," he continued.

On the victory over Arsenal itself, Grealish added: "It was unbelievable and deserved. I thought we were outstanding, particularly our game management and our defence.

"The only problem was we could have got another goal but you have seen what they did to Man City.

"We have conceded quite a few late goals this season but deep down we all knew we'd hold on."
