Jack Grealish makes transfer vow to Aston Villa amid Man Utd interest

Jack Grealish has told Aston Villa he is fully focused on keeping them up after putting his future on hold until the summer.

The England prospect, 24, has scored seven Premier League goals for his boyhood club this term as skipper.

His heroics included a vital late equaliser for 18th-placed Villa at Brighton on Saturday and he also has five assists.

He penned a new contract back in September 2018 tying him until 2023 at Villa Park.

But his superb displays this term have generated interest from leading clubs like Manchester United and put him on the verge of a full England call-up ahead of the Euros.

Yet Mirror Sport understands Grealish has not had his head turned and is committed to Villa this season.

He is desperate to keep the club in the top-flight after captaining them to promotion last term at Wembley.

But if Villa fail it is almost inevitable the star will go after excelling in the Premier League to spark huge interest.

Bids are also expected for Grealish even if Villa stay up this summer, which is when the star is set to decide his future.

Tottenham almost signed the attacking midfielder from Villa in 2018 when the club were in the Championship and were strapped for cash before a takeover.

But the star remained loyal and later signed a new deal before returning to the top-flight with Villa where his brilliant right-foot and skills have made him the most-fouled player.
