Jack Grealish makes transfer decision amid Manchester United interest and more rumours

Jack Grealish is certain to leave Aston Villa in the upcoming transfer window amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports.

The 24-year-old is a priority target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he fits the profile of player the United boss is looking to bring to Old Trafford as he continues to rebuild his playing squad.

MEN Sport understand United expressed an interest in signing Grealish early in the summer window prior to the coronavirus pandemic. Grealish's transfer valuation heavily depends on whether the midlands club can avoid relegation from the Premier League, with the Villans currently one point away from safety with nine games to play.

According to The Athletic, Grealish is determined to help his boyhood club avoid the drop and then seek an exit to a bigger club, with United believed to be front runners in the race to sign him.

The playmaker remains focused on helping his current side stay in the division and will make no attempt to protect himself with the transfer window approaching.

Elsewhere, United have been credited with an interest in Roma winger Cengiz Under, but could face competition from Arsenal.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport report the Reds view the Turkish forward as an alternative to Jadon Sancho.

They believe Under would be available for just £27million meaning he would cost far less than a move for the Dortmund star.

Roma are reportedly willing to listen to offers for the 22-year-old but MEN Sport understand he is not a priority target for United.

Sancho remains top of Solskjaer's wish list, with Schalke star Rabbi Matondo and Velez Sarsfield wonderkid Thiago Almada under consideration as a back up options.
