Jack Grealish has finally broken his silence after claims he’s been involved in a love triangle with actress Emily Atack.
The 26-year-old had remained tight-lipped over the rumours he’s been enjoying a series of dates with The Inbetweeners star, despite being in a relationship with childhood sweetheart Sasha Attwood.
Emily, 31, has made no comment on the reports linking her to the England player, who made a long-awaited return to social media amid the ongoing drama.
Jack was nursing an injury so was forced to sit in the stands for Manchester City’s game against Everton on Sunday, and took to Instagram to share a Boomerang clip from the game, alongside three blue love hearts.
He then shared a picture of his teammates celebrating their 3-0 win, before finally breaking his silence over the rumours that have dogged him for weeks.
Sharing a short statement on his Instagram Stories, Jack pleaded with his followers to ignore the rumours surrounding his love life.
“Please don’t believe everything you read in the newspapers,” he wrote alongside a smiling emoji and handshake emoji.
“The 2 biggest lies in newspapers… ‘a source said’ ‘a close pal said’,” Jack added, concluding with a snoozing face and a laughing emoji.
The Mirror has approached Jack and Emily for comment.
According to The Sun, the footballer had been enjoying secret dates with actress Emily, and they first met up in September, despite being in an on/off relationship with girlfriend Sasha.
It was then claimed Jack had also been involved with former Love Island winner Amber Gill, which she later denied.
She tweeted a statement distancing herself from the whispers and said she won't tolerate the online abuse after revealing she was sent death threats over the reports.
Emily brushed off the speculation around her love life and partied with her family to celebrate her uncle’s 70th birthday over the weekend.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Jack had become ‘like a puppy’ and was besotted with the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant.
The footballer has been in an on-off relationship with teenage sweetheart Sasha for the last 10 years, and the model was last spotted cheering on her partner at the Euro 2020 final against Italy over the summer.
