Jack Grealish at centre of new four-way tussle as rivals circle ahead of bidding war

Jack Grealish is at the centre of a major sponsorship battle as four major boot manufacturers compete for his signature.

The Aston Villa captain is due back from a shin injury after the international break.

Grealish, 25, has been one of the best performing stars in the Premier League this term with six goals and 10 assists.

He is under contract with Nike and was pictured in the stands for Villa's 2-0 home defeat to Tottenham on Sunday in a white tracksuit emblazoned with their signature swoosh.

But Grealish's contract with the American brand is into its last year.

Rivals manufacturers are already circling ahead of a bidding war for the in-demand ace.

Adidas, Puma and Under Armour are all chasing Grealish's signature, as well as Nike who want the ace to renew on improved long-term terms.

Grealish's stock is expect to rise even higher this year with the star expected to make Gareth Southgate's England squad when fully fit.

Grealish, who has five caps, is also wanted by both Manchester City and Manchester United despite signing a five-year deal with boyhood club Villa last September, worth £130,000-a-week.

Villa have badly missed their skipper with just one win in six top-flight games since the star injured his shin.

But he is back in training and scheduled to return to action on Sunday April 4 against Fulham.

England stars who wear Nike include skipper Harry Kane while Harry Maguire is sponsored by Puma.

Dele Alli wears Adidas and Under Armour make Southampton's kit.

During Villa's defeat at home to Spurs, Sky Sports cameras picked out Grealish watching from the stands.

Grealish was in a striking new white tracksuit covered in Nike ticks from top to bottom, along with a matching white beanie hat and a black and gold Gucci coat.

Gary Neville, on commentary duty for Sky Sports, responded saying: “Oooooh.”

Grealish, who has 1.5m instagram followers, was also pictured in the stands at Villa's previous home game, a 0-0 draw with Wolves, wearing a lilac Gucci coat.
