Jack Driscoll in-line to replace Halapoulivaati Vaitai as the Eagles hybrid lineman

The Detroit Lions knew they needed an upgrade along the offensive line so they threw $50 million at former Eagles versatile big-man, Halapoulivaati Vaitai.

With Big-V now move on to help protect Matt Stafford, the Eagles will need to find a versatile hybrid lineman to replace Vaitai’s versatility.

According to The Athletic, former Auburn offensive tackle Jack Driscoll could fit the bill.

Selected in the fourth-round pick, Driscoll is a swing tackle who can also play guard and could become the next player to develop under Jeff Stoutland. Driscoll started all 13 games at the right tackle spot in 2018 and 2019 for Auburn after transferring from UMass.

Driscoll slid down draft boards because teams were concerned about his lack of length and strength at the point of attack.
