He’s been very consistent this season, probably one of Nottingham Forest’s most consistent players.

You always need players with experience, and Colback has got plenty of that. He’s shown he can use it to help the young lads around him and can really influence games.
That’s the kind of player you like to have in your squad. He’s made it clear his future isn’t at Newcastle United, but whether he ends up coming back to Forest is a different matter.
Whatever happens, I think we could be in for a busy summer transfer window.
I’m sure there will be quite a few players leaving the City Ground, and the manager, Martin O’Neill, will already have an idea of players he wants to bring in. No doubt he’s already starting to put some plans in place.
I just hope players can see what’s happening at Nottingham Forest Football Club; that they can see the potential and positivity around the place and want to be part of it.

Colback will already have a good idea about that because he’s been here all season. He’ll know about the owner’s ambition and the plans for redeveloping the stadium.
Whether that works in the club’s favour if they do try to sign him, we’ll have to wait and see.
