Birmingham City are close to signing former Leeds United winger Jack Clarke on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Whites academy graduate was sold to Spurs for £10million last summer and loaned back to Elland Road.
He scored two goals and provided two assists in 22 league appearances during his breakthrough campaign at Leeds in 2018/19, which prompted a move to the Premier League giants.
However, after struggling for minutes under Marcelo Bielsa, Clarke returned to Tottenham and joined Queens Park Rangers in January until the end of the season.
Clarke made only one Championship appearance for Leeds in 19/20, with Jack Harrison, Helder Costa and Ezgjan Alioski all prefered in wide areas.
Our sister title BirminghamLive report that Clarke is likely to become Aitor Karanka's ninth summer addition.
Blues have already strengthened their options in wide areas with the signings of Ivan Sanchez and Jonathan Leko but want further competition after the departures of Jacques Maghoma, Kerim Mrabti and Jefferson Montero.
Clarke has featured for Tottenham in pre-season and played against Birmingham in a friendly which Spurs won 1-0.
