Jack Clarke has joined Queens Park Rangers on loan after a frustrating spell back at Leeds United during the first half of the campaign.
The winger really caught the eye in the Championship last term and Tottenham made their move to bring him to the capital.
However, amid a lot of competition for a place in Spurs' starting XI, Mauricio Pochettino elected to send him back to the West Yorkshire club to continue his development under Marcelo Bielsa.
That just never happened and the Lilywhites decided to recall him at the start of January after he only made three appearances during his time back at Elland Road.
Amid interest from plenty of clubs, Clarke has now headed across the capital to join QPR on loan for the remainder of the season.
Speaking to the club's official website about his temporary move to W12, the York-born ace said: "I am delighted and looking forward to getting started. Hopefully I can kick on and help the team.
"I like to create chances, take people on, I’m very direct with the ball and love running with it.
"I spoke to Mark [Warburton] a fair few times. He was one of the main factors in me coming here - in terms of how he wants to play football and how he sees me fitting in."
Clarke will now be available to make his debut for his new side this weekend and that strangely comes against former side Leeds.
"You couldn’t write it, could you? I am just excited to get going and to kick-start things with my new team," added the 19-year-old.
Having helped Leeds in their promotion push last campaign, Clarke will be hoping to do the same this time as QPR look to make a late charge for the play-offs.
Warburton's side are currently in 15th and seven points off Sheffield Wednesday in the final play-off berth with 19 games remaining.
