Jack Clarke on the QPR bench and Cameron Carter-Vickers starts as Spurs youngster absent again

It was a very busy end to the transfer window for Tottenham with a number of players heading out on loan.

Danny Rose was the notable exit as he joined Newcastle United on loan for the remainder of the season, while fellow full-back Kyle Walker-Peters also got a move away due to limited minutes under Jose Mourinho.

Having four players out on loan towards the end of January, Spurs now have 13 players playing elsewhere as they look to feature more regularly and continue their development.

But how did they do at the weekend? football.london runs you through all the action right here.

Jose Mourinho on Spurs' progress under him

Danny Rose

Making his Newcastle United debut at the start of the month as he came on for the closing stages of the 0-0 draw against Norwich City, Rose wasn't in action at the weekend due to the Premier League winter break.

The Magpies are currently in the middle of their two weeks off and they will be back on the pitch on Sunday as they travel to north London to face Arsenal.

Rose will be hoping to be in the starting XI this time and all Spurs fans will have their fingers crossed that he can help his new side get some points at the Emirates.

Kyle Walker-Peters

Fellow full-back Walker-Peters also had a week off due to the winter break.

Not named in the squad last time out as Southampton fell to a 4-0 defeat at Liverpool, the right-back could make his debut on Saturday lunchtime when Saints host Burnley at St Mary's.

Jack Clarke

Only featuring in three games for Leeds United at the start of the season, the winger joined QPR last month and he has already appeared in four games for the Championship side.

The 19-year-old came on for the final 23 minutes of their 2-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town but he couldn't help his team get back into the game.

Luke Amos

Amos was another to feature in the game at the John Smith's Stadium as he started for Mark Warburton's side.

However, he was one of two players to make way midway through the second half as the manager attempted to switch things about.

Amos picked up his fourth booking of the season in the game.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

The defender was named in the starting XI for Luton Town's 1-0 defeat at home to Cardiff City.

Having come off the bench the previous week away at West Brom, Graeme Jones put Carter-Vickers straight into the team at Kenilworth Road and he played the full 90 minutes.

Anthony Georgiou

Another player to head out on loan before the transfer deadline was Georgiou after a frustrating time at Ipswich Town.

The 22-year-old wasn't involved at the weekend as his new side Bolton lost 2-1 against Coventry City after Maxime Biamou scored in the final minute.

Timothy Eyoma

The defender will also be playing in League One for the rest of the season after joining Lincoln City on loan.

In the squad in the previous game as he was an unused substitute in their defeat against lowly Southend, he wasn't selected by Michael Appleton on Friday evening as they lost to league leaders Rotherham United.

Jack Roles

Absent through illness in their previous game against Colchester, Roles was again missing at the weekend as Cambridge recorded a brilliant win away at Newport County.

Interim boss Mark Bonner has claimed that the Spurs youngster is expected to be back this week.

George Marsh

Marsh is a key part of the Leyton Orient midfield and he once again played the full match as they drew 1-1 at home to Macclesfield.

The League Two side host Mansfield Town on Tuesday evening before travelling to Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

Kazaiah Sterling

Marsh has been joined at Brisbane Road by Spurs teammate Sterling for the rest of the season.

Last featuring on loan at Doncaster Rovers in September, the frontman wasn't involved at the weekend as he is remaining in N17 until he recovers from his quad injury.

Shilow Tracey

Tracey made his debut for Macclesfield on Saturday as he played against Marsh at Brisbane Road.

The Spurs youngster started the game and played 59 minutes before he was replaced by Theo Archibald.

Brandon Austin

Austin headed to Denmark at the end of January as he signed a loan deal with Viborg FF.

He once again started in goal and kept a clean sheet as his new side won 2-0 away at Silkeborg in a friendly.

Armando Shashoua

Shashoua is now in Spain after joining Segunda División B side Atlético Baleares on loan until the end of the season.

An unused substitute the previous week against UD San Sebastia de los Reyes, he came on for the final nine minutes in their 3-1 win over Pontevedra.
