Jack Clarke has the last laugh against Leeds United and Spurs youngster makes return from injury

Tottenham currently have four players away on loan having initially sent seven out to different EFL clubs at the start of the season.

Jack Clarke, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kazaiah Sterling and Anthony Georgiou all returned at the start of the month due to limited gametime at their respective loan clubs.

However, summer signing Clarke was on the move once again on Thursday as he joined Championship side Queens Park Rangers on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The winger now joins Luke Amos, Jack Roles and George Marsh out on loan.

The likes of Carter-Vickers, Sterling and Georgiou will also be hopeful of sealing moves away before the transfer deadline as they just aren't going to get the minutes at Spurs under Jose Mourinho over the coming months.

Here we take a look at how the loanees are currently getting on away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Jack Clarke

The summer signing was back in Championship action on Saturday after sealing a move to QPR last Thursday.

Sent back on loan to Leeds United at the start of the campaign to continue his development, the 19-year-old only played in three games for the West Yorkshire club and was subsequently recalled by Tottenham.

Only playing 19 minutes in the league for Marcelo Bielsa's side, Clarke came off the bench with 16 minutes to go against former side Leeds at the weekend.

It was also a day to remember as they clinched a 1-0 win over the promotion contenders with Nahki Wells netting the all-important goal after 20 minutes.

"Happy to make my QPR debut today and top it off with a win. Also nice to see some familiar faces," Clarke posted on Instagram after the slender victory.

QPR are back in action on Friday evening as they take on Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup, before then travelling to Blackburn Rovers in the league next Tuesday.

Luke Amos

Clarke isn't the only Tottenham player in west London as Amos is also currently plying his trade at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

The midfielder, who missed the vast majority of last season with an ACL injury, is getting some much-needed playing time under his belt as he looks to return to Spurs and force his way into the side next campaign.

Amos started in the 1-0 win over Leeds and made way on 74 minutes as Mark Warburton's side made a double sub to freshen things up.

The youngster has now made 21 appearances for the Championship outfit this term, scoring two goals in the process.

Jack Roles

Roles made his return from injury on Saturday as Cambridge United fell to a 4-0 home defeat against bottom club Stevenage.

The midfielder missed out the previous week against Exeter City but it wasn't due to a hamstring injury as many first feared.

"It’s not a hamstring, but because of the load certain parts of his body around the hips and glutes just tighten up a little bit," manager Colin Calderwood told Cambridgeshire Live prior to the trip to St James Park.

"In effect it’s what happened earlier in the season, but it feels better than it did last time it happened."

Coming off the bench at half-time against Stevenage when his side were trailing 1-0, Roles couldn't help turn the game in Cambridge's favour as they crashed to a big defeat at the Abbey Stadium as the visitors netted a further three goals.

The 20-year-old has scored five goals in 22 appearances for the League Two side this campaign.

George Marsh

Marsh continues to be a key part of Leyton Orient's midfield after starting once again in their clash against Port Vale.

The Spurs loanee got 90 minutes in the tank at Vale Park but he couldn't help his side from slipping to a 1-0 defeat.

Marsh, who has played 20 games for Orient this term, signed fresh terms earlier in the month to stay at Brisbane Road until the end of the season.

The League Two side are back in action on Tuesday evening when they host Northampton Town.
