Jack Butland has officially said his goodbyes to Crystal Palace with a move to Rangers imminent.
The 30-year-old will make the move north of the border to join Michael Beale as his third summer signing following the pre-contract additions of Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling from Norwich City and Chelsea. The England cap will rival Robby McCrorie for the gloves in Govan after Allan McGregor's exit.
Butland spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Manchester United as back-up to David de Gea and while they wanted to keep him on board, the goalkeeper has opted to move on and become a No1 in his own right again and get match minutes under his belt.
