Jack and Jill Foundation selling Christmas stocking filler that will help sick children

The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is selling Christmas stocking filler that will make a difference.

The charity has released an Irish children’s book called “What does Santa do, when it’s not Christmas?”

It’s a great last minute gift with meaning and it only costs €8 - it's a cute little gift that will be cherished and it’ll make a huge difference for sick children.

There are 402 families across Ireland currently under the charity’s care, and with the increased pressure on the hospital system they need all the funds they can get.

The charity said: “It’s important to keep these beautiful, vulnerable sick children home for Christmas and out of hospital - because there is no care like home care, especially during the festive season.

"With lots of our Christmas fundraisers now cancelled, its little things like this that can help us keep our sick children home for Christmas."

So if you ever wonder…“What does Santa do, when it’s not Christmas?” This gift could be the perfect purchase.

Children love the magic of Christmas, and of course, the magic that Santa brings each year.

But what happens after Christmas Eve and Santa has delivered all of his presents? What does he do for the rest of the year when he’s not feverishly making toys, checking lists twice, and hurtling helter-skelter across the midnight sky delivering toys across the world?

“What does Santa do, when it’s not Christmas?” is an enchanting picture book, aimed at children under seven years of age, and tells the story of what Santa does for the rest of the year.

The timeless story is written and illustrated by lifelong friends Paddy Comyn from Drogheda, Co Louth and Barry Sheehan from Bray, Co Wicklow, and all monies raised directly funding Jack and Jill’s in-home nursing care and respite service for children up to the age of six.

The book is available in softback and printed on snow-friendly and environmentally friendly paper. You can get it here.
