Dani Dyer and Love Island beau Jack Fincham have hit back at reports they’ve been slapped with a drinking ban ahead of their first ever joint presenting gig at the National Television Awards.
The duo, who are gearing up to host the glitzy award show at the end of the month, were supposedly warned against partying ahead of the night, but the couple have since branded the claims untrue.
A representative for Fincham told the Standard: “There is no partying ban. However Jack is currently very focused on his training as he prepares for his return to boxing.”
The comment comes after a source told The Sun: “Jack has been warned not to party ahead of the NTAs and not to drink on the night. He’s got form when it comes to cancelling work commitments and people are worried he’s going to let down everyone working on the event.
“This is the biggest presenting job he has had since being a contestant on Love Island and his team know he needs to prove he can do it. No one wants him to screw it up. Jack has been asked to give his word that he’ll slow down his partying beforehand.”
The news comes after the pair enjoyed a boozy holiday in Dubai.
Fincham shared a hilarious video of his other half falling over a chair as she danced on the beach, mocking her for not being able to manage her drink.
“This is what I’ve got to put up with… she’s had three Porn Star [martinis]!” Fincham said in the Instagram clip, before poking fun at her low tolerance to alcohol in another.
“Some people can’t handle their first night in Dubai. Me, I’m a hardened drinker,” he joked to his followers.
Dyer appeared to confirm her boyfriend’s version of events when she shared a clip of herself brandishing a cocktail with the caption: “I can’t handle my drink.”
The three-part special aired last night, giving fans an insight into the ups and downs of their relationship, including buying a puppy and moving in together.
