Jabari Parker is the 2nd player and 13th member of the Bulls' traveling party to fall ill after the trip to Mexico City

OKLAHOMA CITY _ It's up to unlucky 13.

The Bulls got hit hard by a stomach virus during their trip to Mexico City, with Jabari Parker becoming the latest to be affected. Parker, who has fallen out of Jim Boylen's playing rotation, attended the Bulls' team meeting in the morning and bussed to the arena for shootaround before his symptoms worsened and the team sent him back to the hotel.

He's the second player and 13th member of the Bulls' traveling party to fall ill. Chandler Hutchison missed the game in Mexico City with the illness. Executives, coaches and team support staff also have been sick.

With Parker ill and Zach LaVine back in Chicago, expect G League callup Rawle Alkins to be activated for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Boylen offered no new timetable for LaVine, although he did acknowledge swelling and fluid in LaVine's injured left ankle. It's been previously reported that the Bulls are viewing LaVine's absence more by the week than the day.

LaVine suffered a sprained deltoid ligament in his ankle in the loss to the Magic in Mexico City.

"We're just going to see how he progresses with treatment. Sometimes, guys bounce back really quick. Sometimes, it takes a little time. But the process is moving forward," Boylen said. "There was some swelling and some fluid in that area, and that's where it's at."
