In recent years J-Lo's been busy emoting radiantly (as a judge on American Idol) and procreating lucratively (People magazine paid $6m to "introduce" her twins to the world), but she ends her four-year recording hiatus with a load of turbo-produced bangers. The "Lambada"-sampling "On the Floor" - an enormous pop edifice built on house, Latin and techno - is a particular triumph. The only thing impeding dancefloor abandon is the hilarity of the record's lyrics: "Don't you want me to have your baby?" she sings on "Good Hit" before failing to underscore her reproductive capability with this rapped non-sequitur: "Cartier bracelet with my Prada bag."
