J.K Rowling announced that she has made a full recovery after "two weeks" of suffering from COVID-19.
The Harry Potter author, who wrote the famous books in Edinburgh, claims a breathing technique recommended by an NHS doctor "helped a lot."
The writer took to social media to share a video from Queens Hospital in London, filmed to help coronavirus patients breathe easier.
In a separate social media post, J.K. Rowling wrote: "Thank you for your kind and lovely messages!
"I really am completely recovered and wanted to share a technique that’s recommended by doctors, costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot, as it did me.
"Stay safe, everyone x."
In the video, The Queen's Hospital doctor shares some advice given by Sue, the Director of Nursing, on how to breathe while battling COVID-19.
The Doctor recommends taking five breathes in and holding each for five seconds.
On the sixth breath, he recommends coughing to clear the lungs, saying: "you need to be getting a good amount of air into the base of the lungs."
