J.K. Dobbins suffers torn ACL, out for year

If you were up and about surfing football games yesterday or taking a look at Twitter, you are keenly aware of the fact that former Ohio State and current Baltimore Ravens’ running back J.K. Dobbins suffered a knee injury and was eventually taken back on a cart to be assessed.

We have been awaiting the MRI and further diagnoses to determine how extensive the damage was, and our worst fears have now been realized. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, sources have confirmed to him that Dobbins suffered a tear of the left ACL and will miss the entire 2021-2022 season with the Ravens.

This has to be devastating news for Dobbins who was penciled in as the starting tailback this upcoming season and had shown all the promise of being one of the league’s breakout stars.

If we know anything about the former Ohio State star though, he’ll work his tail off to get back on the field and be better than ever. Godspeed Dobbins, our thoughts are with you as you work through adversity. We can’t wait to see what’s on the other end of this thing.
