JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its senior leaders, paid floral tributes to Heeraba, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina, accompanied by J&K BJP general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, BJP National Secretary Dr Narinder Singh, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former state president Shamsher Singh Manhas, MP (Rajya Sabha) Er Ghulam Ali Khatana, former president & former Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh, former dy CM Kavinder Gupta and other senior party leaders spoke on the occasion giving warm tributes to the departed soul.
Ravinder Raina, while paying tributes, said that as soon as the news of ill health of PM's mother poured in, the whole Nation was praying for her health. He remembered the moment when the Prime Minister talked about the hardships faced by PM's mother to meet the ends of the family. He said that the mother of the PM provided the necessary values, principles and ethics in the family. Such was the influence of her teachings that her one son, PM Modi is today guiding the whole world with his conscience and decisions. He said that the whole world stands with PM Modi and other family members in this hour and pray for the Moksha to enlightened soul.
In his tributes, Ashok Koul attributed the great works of PM Modi to her mother like providing Izzatghar, Ujjwala Yojana and other such schemes for upgrading the life of uncountable women of this Nation.
"The Prime Minister performed the last rites of his mother with simplicity while returning for his duties towards the Nation. We all bow in the feet of such a great mother and pray to Almighty to provide her with Moksha," Koul added.
Meanhile Bharatiya Janata Party's Mahila Morcha J&K, President Sanjita Dogra alongwith her team paid floral tribute to 'Heeraben', Mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji at BJP District Office, Kachchi Chawni.
In her tributes Sanjita Dogra said, "The news of the demise of PM Narendra Modi ji's mother 'Heeraben' is extremely sad." "No one in this world can take place of mother. I pray to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to PM Narendra Modi Ji and family members to bear this hour of grief," she added.
