J.J. Watt upgrades little Texans fan’s No. 99 jersey

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt helped a young fan of his upgrade his jersey from a homemade No. 99 to a more authentic version.

On the 99th day of school, a Moore (Houston) Elementary student named Brock had to improvise with a couple of paper clips and hand-cut nines to make his own Watt jersey to show his appreciation for the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Just as Watt finds ways to affect the passer, he is equally relentless in helping brighten the day of individuals in the community. Brock is yet another soul that the defensive end has helped. On Wednesday, Watt personally delivered Brock a jersey that matched in quality the effort Brock gave when he made the original one.

Brock’s A for effort certainly earned him a just reward, one that he will remember for the rest of his life.
