J.J. Watt offered an early description of his first experience as a free agent

Former Houston Texans star J.J. Watt got his release from the team this week, leaving him open to test the free-agent market for the first time in his NFL career.

And it’s safe to say that Watt is taking in this new experience.

Watt signed a six-year, $100 million extension with Houston in 2014 before his rookie contract expired, so he never actually had teams out there lobbying for his services.

Just in the few days since his release, Watt has seen former Houston teammate DeAndre Hopkins openly campaign for a reunion, which prompted JuJu Smith-Schuster to offer his pitch for the Steelers.

On Wednesday, Watt took to Twitter and offered a brief description of his free-agent experience.

There you go. Wild!

It’s unclear exactly where Watt will land, but the Browns and Steelers have been consistently named among the favorites for Watt who will turn 32 before the 2021 season.
