Arizona Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt is known for being responsive when terrible things happen. He helped raise more than $37 million in relief aid for those affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
He is doing it again.
A recent tragedy hit close to home for Watt, and there have been several deaths and many injuries in Waukesha, Wisconsin during a Christmas parade.
A driver plowed his truck into the parade, leading to six deaths and nearly 50 injured people.
Watt went to high school in nearby Pewaukee, just a few miles from Waukesha.
He is helping those affected by the tragedy.

Watt is covering funeral costs for everyone that died in the parade. So far, that has been five adults and one child.
Watt, of course, makes millions of dollars as a well-known NFL player. However, this is yet another example of someone who gets it. He has the means to help and does, especially for those who are hit hardest in the worst scenarios.
He was named 2017 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year. He continues to build his legacy on and off the field.
