J.J. McCarthy seemingly had the loudest cheering section for him at the 2024 NFL combine

Former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy joined in with his fellow prospects at the 2024 NFL combine to try and make a case for being a franchise pillar of the future.

It sure sounded like he had the loudest cheering section for him in Indianapolis after watching him during his throwing drill, at least.

As McCarthy prepared to make a pass during his workout at Lucas Oil Stadium, you could hear a loud scream over the NFL Network broadcast to seemingly signal that the former Wolverines starter had some very vocal support for him in the stands.

While McCarthy then missed the throw before it happened, he can at least bank on the fact that he seemingly had one person in his corner in Indy.

McCarthy could go as high as the top 10 during April’s NFL Draft, and we’re guessing this weekend may inspire some teams either way when it comes to drafting the title-winning Michigan quarterback.

We’ll know soon enough where McCarthy lands, and if what sounded like a very passionate NFL combine cheering section will be joining him at his next stop.
