'Ivorian Messi!' - Manchester United fans go crazy as Amad comes out on top again in training

Manchester United youngster Amad is making winning matches on the training ground something of a habit, it seems.

Yesterday, after midfielder Nemanja Matic took to his Instagram page to upload a photograph of himself and several of his team-mates, including Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho and Edinson Cavani, to confirm that he had come out on top in a light-hearted game that had been contested at the club's Carrington training base, whilst joking that Cristiano Ronaldo had found himself on the losing side, Amad became something of a key talking point on social media.

A lot of United's players frequently take to Instagram to react to winning games on the training ground, with them designed to raise morale and competitiveness within the squad.

Reacting to his team's victory and poking a light-hearted jibe in Ronaldo's direction, Matic, alongside the photograph, said: "Winning team! @cristiano are you ok?" accompanied with a laughing face.

Matic appears to come out on top frequently, but not as much as Amad.

Matic's comment about Ronaldo attracted a comment from Amad, with it often rare that the Portuguese star is on the losing side.

After Matic questioned if Ronaldo was "ok," Amad replied, jokingly saying: "He lost and was p****d."

That tongue-in-cheek comment from the winger, who featured in the recent 1-1 draw with Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League, attracted plenty of laughter from the United fans who had caught wind of Matic's antics and victory.

Furthermore, Amad then took to his own Instagram page to upload a series of images to his Instagram Story, featuring a collection of images to show that he also finds himself on the winning side quite often, even more than Matic does.

He posted four images in one upload to show his recent victories, with the caption: "I don't know how to lose."

That prompted comments from United supporters on Twitter, who quickly suggested that they don't think they have ever seen Amad lose a training ground match.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some fans had to say.

As you can see from the messages above, Amad's antics in training have captured the attention of United's supporters.

He was supposed to join Feyenoord at the end of the summer transfer window on loan but an injury put pay to that plan.

However, the arrival of Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford could be good news for the Ivorian, as Rangnick has a track record of developing youth and presenting youngsters with opportunities, which could be great news for the former Atalanta ace.
