Curtis appeared heartbroken after his first Love Island partner Amy Hart left the villa last night.
Amy decided to quit the show after Curtis proved unfaithful whilst she was in Casa Amor.
Explaining her decision to the professional dancer she said: "I came in here and I thought I was going to meet some nice people and I’d probably date one of them and they’d be alright and then I met you and you completely turned my whole world around.
"We made each other happy… I want us to be best, best friends but we both need to move on and we both need to find someone that is going to make us as happy as we make them."
And at first it appeared that Curtis was still heartbroken over Amy's decision to leave as he told new girl Francesca : "I've been crying all day".
However, viewers weren't convinced by his confession as he proceeded to go on a date with Francesca and later kiss Maura.
Taking to Twitter, Love Island fans expressed their disgruntlement.
Zara wrote: "I've been crying all day - like we didn't just see you make out with Maura in that preview..."
Chinyere said: "Curtis has been crying all day. What a load of s****."
Sarah tweeted: "Why is Curtis still pretending to be bothered about Amy."
Another said: "One hundred percent truthful? Curtis let's not continue to lie."
And Jordane wrote: "Curtis has been crying all day? Loool ok."
