ITV2 Love Island viewers spot problem as new Majorcan villa unveiled

Love Island viewers spotted a problem as the new villa was unveiled.

The popular ITV2 dating show returned to our screens tonight for the season eight premiere. The new batch of Islanders faced a format shake-up as the programme has introduced an interactive element.

Narrator Iain Stirling confirmed on Lorraine last week that the viewers would vote for the first couples. He said: "We want you guys at home to play cupid and you will have your say on which boy couples up with which girl."

However, Laura Whitmore revealed at the start of tonight's show this would not be the only change for the new season. The presenter confirmed the singletons would be staying in a new Majorcan villa.

However, viewers following the show on Twitter were confused after it was unveiled and were convinced it looked the same as last season's villa.

Kate said: "How have they managed to make a new villa look almost exactly the same as the old one? Still a small upstairs terrace, an outdoor kitchen, infinity pool lol"

Serena added: "The villa looks exactly the same as last year please"

Kristina commented : "Is that not the same villa..?"

Lucy posted: "I don’t understand why they keep getting new villas and making them look exactly the same???"

Pisces tweeted: "The villa looks the same every year"
