ITV2 Love Island surprise double dumping twist sees two couples torn apart

There's plenty of drama on tonight's Love Island as a shock double dumping sees two couples ripped apart.

Elma and Anton and Lucie and Joe were voted the least compatible couples by their fellow Islanders on last night's instalment.

The public have been voting to save one contestant from each pair, with the results of the dumping revealed tonight meaning both couples will be left torn apart.

Over the past week, Surfer Lucie has attracted criticism for not spending enough time with her fellow female housemates - and tensions have been building in the villa.

Spending more time chatting one-on-one with another boy in the house, instead of the girls, left her other half  Joe Garratt  annoyed.

The sandwich whiz pulled her for a chat and told her he wanted to try spending more time with girls, while Lucie insisted that she just prefers boys' company.

This led to many angry viewers taking to Twitter, saying that Joe should not be telling her who she can and can't be friends with.

Meanwhile, Elma confronts Maura on the daybeds about last night's rant over new boy Tom.

Elma says: "I just quickly wanted to grab you for a chat because I've been meaning to catch you today.

"What upset me more than anything is that you said I didn't have girl code.

"You were saying to me 'I would never have done that to you' but you literally did that to Molly babe."

Maura retorts: "They were not together."

However, Elma snaps back, saying: "Yeah but you and him are not together."
