ITV2 Love Island's Michael praised as 'true Scouser' for calling out Molly-Mae

Love Island's Michael was praised as 'true Scouser' for calling out Molly-Mae when she failed to get up and greet the new boy.

Danny, whose mum is from Liverpool , joined the Islanders in tonight's episode after taking Yewande and Amber on a date.

As soon as he walked into the villa, Molly-Mae's head was turned, despite being coupled up with Tommy.

The contestants all jumped up to greet him... except Molly-Mae.

Calling her out, Michael shouted her over in front of everyone, she claimed she had fallen asleep, but they were not convinced.

On Twitter fans of the show loved it, one tweeting: "Michael calling Molly-Mae out for not greeting Danny. Proper Scouser that...she's rude"

One said: "Michael calling out Molly Mae to come and greet new boy," followed by a laughing emoji.

Another said: "He just says it how it is doesn’t he."

A fourth said: "LOOOOL Michael telling Molly to come say hi"

Through out the episode Molly-Mae made a play for Danny, telling him he was her type.

The girls were not impressed, Amy said to Yewande and Anna: "No, I am sorry, but you have already got two [Tommy and Anton], you have been on a date with another one, so that's three out of the seven boys, no."

And Tommy is not happy about it either, in the Beach Hut he said: "I’m a bit confused. She’s chatting to different guys.

"She’s having a good crack.

"I’m glad she’s having a good time in here but I’ve never been in the situation where I’m talking to a girl and there has been other lads there.

"It is what it is."

*Love Island is on ITV2 evenings from 9pm
