Love Island runners up Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins have confirmed they are not 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend'.
The couple, who got together in the ITV2 villa in Mallorca, have maintained that they are 'together' but are yet to put a label on their relationship.
Irish grid girl Maura and ballroom dancer Curtis appeared on ITV daytime show This Morning where presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield quizzed.
Phil said: "So are you boyfriend and girlfriend?"
Curtis, 23, said: "I haven't even asked her to be my girlfriend. And I am not going to do it on TV."
Holly said: "Not even half-boyfriend and half-girlfriend?"
Maura said: "Oh you had to bring that up!"
Phil added: "Do you want to take it to the next level?"
Maura, 28, said: "Of course."
Holly gasped, asking them why they wouldn't just do it now.
But during their first interview since leaving the villa, the couple insisted they were very much together and Curtis said he was enjoying things "how they were".
Maura said: "We have not had one argument since leaving the villa. It so so much easier [the relationship] coming out [of the villa].
"We know we are together, we know we are happy."
Curtis said: "We don't have to spend every minute of the day together, which is good."
He also spoke about his previous comment around his sexuality, adding: "Its 2019 and I don't think we should label anything, I think it is ridiculous that we do."
During the show, Curtis revealed the prior to Love Island he had actually messaged Maura on Instagram but she had never replied.
Maura said: "I didn't see the message, and I wouldn't have replied because I just don't do that."
They also spoke of their new projects coming up, as Maura joins the This Morning team and Curtis takes part in BBC's The Greatest Dancer and prepares for a tour with his brother, Strictly's AJ.
