ITV2 Love Island first look Tommy smitten with Molly-Mae but he's got competition

There's been a lot of drama in the first week of Love Island - and tonight sees new bombshell Molly-Mae stir things up even more.

It was revealed last night that the public had chosen Tommy to go on a date in the Hideaway with Molly-Mae.

As Tommy arrives in the Hideaway the pair introduce themselves and Tommy joins Molly-Mae in the hot tub.

Sparks fly immediately between the pair, as Molly-Mae says: “Your eyes are amazing.”

Tommy replies “Likewise. You are… amazing! Looking at you now, you’re 100% my type.”

Tommy reveals he’s from Manchester and asks Molly-Mae where she's from.

Molly-Mae says: “I live in Manchester! We’re literally neighbours.”

Tommy replies: “You’re literally my ideal women. You’re a gym girl. You’re beautiful.”

Tommy and Molly-Mae seem to be establishing common ground but it’s not long before Molly-Mae receives a text.

She reads: “Molly-Mae, it’s time for your second date and this time it is up to you. Please send Tommy to get the boy of your choice. #TakeYourPick #OneOutOneIn”

Tommy doesn’t seem to want the date to end. She giggles and says “Are you fury-ous?!” making a pun on his last name and the pair laugh.

Molly sends Tommy back to the villa, telling him to tell Curtis to come and join her.

Following Tommy’s date with Molly-Mae, Lucie is keen to know where his head is at.

Lucie says: “Obviously, I do like you but I do need to accept that you’re going to get to know the new girl. If you fancy her, it’s fine.”

Tommy says: “Has it made you feel any different?”

Lucie replies: “Yes. It’s made me feel a little bit jealous.”

Joe sees Molly-Mae’s arrival as an opportunity to get things back on track with Lucie.

In the Beach Hut he says: “If something blossoms between Molly-Mae and Tommy and then I get a chance again for me and Lucie to carry on without any distractions then obviously I’ll be buzzing.”

Tommy gives Molly-Mae a lesson in boxing. The pair’s interaction hasn’t gone unnoticed by the other Islanders in the villa.

Lucie is in the kitchen with Amy and says: “She’s straight on it this morning, isn’t she? She’s straight in there.”

But Tommy isn’t the only boy who is interested in Molly-Mae. Anton joins the race for Molly-Mae’s affections.

In the Beach Hut he says: “Operation Double A has been cancelled. Now we’re going for Operation MMA and it’s well and truly underway.”

However, Tommy won’t be his only competition as there is another boy who is keen to impress the new arrival.

Callum and Molly-Mae sit by the pool and get to know each other. Callum says: “What do you normally go for in a guy?”

Molly Mae replies: “Tall, teeth and a tan.”

Suggesting he is what Molly-Mae is looking for, Callum says: “Tick. Tick. Tick.”

But who will take Molly-Mae’s fancy?

Later that day Amber receives a text: “Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling. The girls will choose and the boy not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the island. #GetPickedOrGetPacking #BoyBye"

*Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
