ITV2 Love Island fans confused as Islanders shiver in cold without clothes on

Love Island fans are questioning why the contestants are not wrapping up warm in the cold weather.

Islanders can be seen visibly shaking in the low temperatures but they still sit in their beachwear.

The weather in the villa looks cloudy and winds also seem to be picking up.

Despite this, the cast of Winter Love Island are all sitting outside by the pool.

Most of the men are not wearing t-shirts or jackets , and some of the girls are also not wrapping up.

Host Ian Stirling even made a joke about the situation as the commentated over the episode.

He said: "Back at the villa, the boys are shivering under the duvets because it's seriously chilly.

"I mean not atmosphere like Molly and Shaunagh's brunch chilly but there's a definite nip."

The classic Love Island water bottles have been swapped for mugs filled with what audiences can only assume is warm drinks too.

@staceybrewski1 said: " Why don’t they just put some clothes on if it’s a cold day?! what on Earth, they’re literally shivering"

Another fan, @nic_j_goodman commented: "Fully enjoying that despite the fact it’s clearly a cold day none of the Islanders have thought to put any clothes on."

While @TomJebb8 tweeted: " If that cold why don't they go and put a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms on #LoveIsland"

And @NattyGoode commented: " I’m confused.. is it warm or cold there? Callum’s sat there topless whilst Molly is sat shivering"

Love Island airs Sunday - Friday at 9pm on ITV2
