ITV viewers slam replacement Good Morning Britain presenters

People hate change and that is certainly true when it comes to Good Morning Britain.

It would seem that viewers, unlike the American audience, are quick to get withdrawal symptoms for Piers Morgan.

For they slammed Good Morning Britain's replacement presenters who are covering while Susanna Reid and Morgan are on a summer break.

The Liverpool Echo reported that fans of the ITV breakfast show took to Twitter to vent about the programme's choice of hosts as Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray were joined by Iain Lee.

Many said they didn't like the line up shouting over each other and some had turned over to rival BBC Breakfast.

The Good Morning Britain team discuss whether or not our pets love us back

Good Morning Britain: Do our pets love us back?

One said: "Trying to watch conversation about Meghan Markle - it’s painful and unprofessional, lots of shouting… and outdoing each other… not great."

Another said: "Boring!!! Least Kate and Ben can be amusing - these 2 ugh."

A third said: "Switched on this morning only to be faced with these two. BBC breakfast for me today then."

A fourth added: "Get the proper presenters back on!"

A fifth added: "Can’t bear these presenters turned over to watch @BBCBreakfast"

But while some took issue with Ranvir and Adil's banter, many loved seeing the political correspondent [Ranvir] and the writer of Citizen Khan [Adil] take up the top spots.

One said: "Loving Adil Ray when Piers away always."

Another said: "My daughter is well impressed @adilray with Adil AND seeing the Piece Hall on this morning.. well played this morning @gmb"

A third added: "#GMB More @adilray please to balance out the ‘populism’ that has become GMB at the moment."
