ITV viewers were astounded when a contestant on The Chase did the unbelievable.
Ben set himself up for a good game when he revealed himself as a brainbox- having appeared on TV quiz shows before.
But viewers couldn't believe how smart he really was until the cash-builder round.
The call-centre worker scored a cool £9,000 after a successful round, barely faltering.

But when it came to facing The Beast, viewers were shocked by the offer he chose.
Many were expecting Ben to chose the high offer of £39,000 - a life changing sum of money.
Even his fellow players urged Ben to chose the £39k.
However, Ben shocked everyone in the studio and audiences at home when he chose to stick with the £9k.
Vix said: "Even tho £9,000 is a great amount he should of gone big. #TheChase ."
Megamind tweeted: "If you're a quiz boffin on the chase then the high offer is a no brainer."
And Kiran said: "Arghhh come on Ben."
But others thought Ben was playing a tactical game.
Gary tweeted: "Still think Ben called it right - why should he build the pot up after a great effort only for some clown to knock it back down?"
The only contestant on the show who opted for the high offer was Tony - who managed to secure £45,000.
