ITV to serialise Happy Mondays frontman's life – Hallelujah!

Madchester on the rampage is soon to hit our screens as ITV plans to serialise the autobiography of Happy Mondays frontman, Shaun Ryder, the Sun reports. Incidents from Twisting my Melon which are likely to feature include the time the musician was arrested in Jersey for possession for cocaine, and on being asked if he wanted an advocate, replied: "I don't want any poncey southern drinks". Downton Abbey's Rob James-Collier is one of the names being to touted to play Ryder, along with Shameless star Elliott Tittensor. Get practising your freaky dancing, lads.
