ITV This Morning viewers 'mortified' seconds into show as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield listen to couple's 'loud sex'

This Morning viewers were quickly flocking to social media as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield kicked off their last show of the week. The pair were back at the helm of the ITV daytime programme on Thursday (June 23) and wasted no time in introducing their first guests.

Rather than revealing what was to come on the show, the hosting duo welcomed viewers to the latest episode before introducing Lydia Barker and Billy Brown. The couple appeared to speak to Holly and Phillip about an issue they're facing at home.

Lydia, 31, and Billy, 40, from Somerset, have been accused by their neighbour of being too noisy in the bedroom. Their social housing provider has told them it will "monitor the matter" despite the pair admitting they have sex "morning, noon and night".

However, they do deny making anything more than a few "moans and groans" and in a different interview with The Sun said the ominous warning has "knocked them off their stride".

Lydia said the couple were "shocked" when she received a letter reffering to the complaint within new months of moving into the property. As Phillip, 60, pried as to how long their sexual activity lasts, Billy joked: "Just a quick two minutes, you know!" as Lydia added: "Yeah 120 seconds!"

Phillip then revealed that This Morning had asked the pair to record themselves having sex and confirmed that he and Holly were about to listen to it via their earpieces. The pair immediately gasped as Phillip remarked: "You definitely like to talk to each other during your love-making!"

"Yeah she never shuts up!" Billy replied as Lydia burst out laughing. "Maybe the complaints were about the words you were actually shouting," the host then said before asking: "Going forward, will this change things? Will you try and be more quiet?"

But This Morning viewers were pretty horrified by the opening to the show. @fibrojayne tweeted: "Keep your bedroom antics PRIVATE! And especially not air them on national TV #ThisMorning." @FlopsyPickle said: "Why would you go on tv to talk about how noisy you are in bed? Why?! What’s wrong with people. It’s just f****g weird #ThisMorning."

Don't want to think of them having sex."

And that wasn't all that caught their attention about it. @sparkle_cheryl said: "Do they need to be interviewed on the bed? #ThisMorning." @mikepriestley13 tweeted: "Of course they have to do the interview on a bed. #ThisMorning."

@onlysmols wrote: "As if they have made them do the interview in their bed #ThisMorning." @Jodi_Rushworth commented: "This is so cringey, look at them both sat there on the bed whilst she's caressing his leg #ThisMorning."
