ITV This Morning viewers in tears over 'mean' Legoland interview

ITV This Morning viewers were crying with laughter during a segment featuring bubbly Josie Gibson reporting from Legoland.

Sitting on the popular pirate ship ride, to interview amusement park staff member Karen about safety measures put in place ahead of the site reopening on July 4, Josie got a shock when the ride started to move.

Josie said: "We're not going anywhere, are we? They promised - I said to them how is this ride going to be and they said it's going to be smooth sailing. You better not start this ride.

"I know they're going to do it to me, I know they're going to do it."

The ride began swinging back and forth, with Josie exclaiming "oh no", before continuing to try and interview Karen about the park's safety precautions.

Viewers found the interview to be hilarious - though branded This Morning "mean" for putting Josie on the ride for the interview.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Davina said: " @thismorning are so mean... Josie Gibson on the pirate ship ride".

Danny commented: "Josie Gibson you are a sucker. You didn't think you'd sit on on a ride and they wouldn't start it? You fool!"

Adding a series of crying laughter emojis, one viewer said: "Thanks Josie, you're such a laugh. Nice just to be lighthearted first time I've laughed at something on the TV for months."

A sympathetic viewer said: "Awwwww josie! I know exactly how you feel too! I hate rides like that" and added a series of sobbing emojis.

Kerrie added: "Professional as ever trying to carry on with the interview brilliant."

Lil said: "Josie Gibson makes my day when she’s on a ride just hilarious".

Louise said: "Howling at #ThisMorning! Just like that scene from Bridget Jones. Poor Josie!"

James added: "I want Josie to only interview people on Rollercoasters from now on."
