ITV This Morning thrown into chaos after urgent change during show

This Morning was thrown into chaos earlier after urgent changes had to be made during Thursday's programme.

Presenters Philip and Holly explained to viewers that they had lots coming up on the show, including something " quite eye opening ".

But before the segment they were referring to could air, production staff had to frantically make changes to the re-recorded piece, involving naked cyclists Colin Unsworth and Sadie Tann, who recently completed a cheeky charity ride around the UK.

Phi said: "We're going to show it later because the idea was that it was going to be the opening of the show, and we've actually just pre-recorded it because with something like this you've got to be careful... we don't want to offend anybody.

A segment of the show had to be urgently moved (ITV / This Morning)

"We've got two naked cyclists on a tandem who have cycled 1000 miles from Land's End to John o' Groats and raised over £5,000 for charity so we pre-recorded it and we just watched it back and you can see his bits."

Both presenters then explained production teams tried to blur and cut away from the shot, but unfortunately that wasn't so easy.

He added: "So what are are going to have to do is, we're going to have to send it to edit and see if they can do something with it."

Holly replied: "Put a big aubergine over it."

A short time later the clip was played out to viewers.

As we previously reported, Colin Unsworth and Sadie Tann were caught on video by a stunned motorist who recorded the nude duo blissfully gliding by the Bridge of Earn in Perthshire in July.

The pair had been cycling the length of the UK from John o' Groats in Cathness to Land's End in Cornwall, England to coin in cash for a cause close to their hearts.

Funds raised will go towards Rewilding Britain, which works at "restoring ecosystems" to a point where nature can maintain itself again, as well as for the mental health charity MIND.

Police had to be called in after a car deliberately hit them on the A912. Thankfully they escaped without any serious injuries.
