ITV This Morning's Holly Willoughby makes big blunder over Champions League final leaving Phillip Schofield in hysterics

The UK is suffering from football fever this week after Liverpool  and Tottenham Hotspur soared to the Champions League final.

But when presenting the latest update on This Morning following last night's clash between Spurs and Ajax, Holly Willoughby botched the segment - leaving Phillip Schofield in stitches.

Tottenham won a place in this year's final in Madrid after stunning Ajax with a last-minute goal in the semi-final second leg between the two sides.

Spurs will now face fellow Premier League side Liverpool in Madrid.

But if you'd tuned into This Morning, you would have mistakenly heard that Dutch side Ajax beat Spurs in Amsterdam last night.

Holly opened the segment saying "yow" instead of "now", much to the amusement of Phil.

But things got progressively worse as Holly then said: "If you were watching the amazing Tottenham Hotspur last night at the Champions League, they were triumphed over Dutch side..."

Luckily Phil was able to interject: "They triumphed... we should never do football."

Holly added: "Yeah we should just back away from football."

But Phil himself then stumbled when trying to pronounce Spur's manager name - Mauricio Pochettino.
