ITV This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield get the giggles during "sex scheduling" debate

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield got the giggles this morning during a debate about if couples should schedule sex.

Vanessa Feltz and Nicola McLean appeared on the show to talk about the issue, with Holly and Phil struggling to hide their immature giggles.

Vanessa said: "The thought of doing it multiple times a week how ghastly, but you're supposed to quite like sex, other things get in the way and before you know it another week or another month can go by, when you didn't get round to it.

"I mean you don't have to adhere to this list as gospel, but in general if you think on a Thursday that would be a good time then I don't think there's anything wrong with that."

But Nicola completely disagreed saying: "I'm a very disorganised person, but I'm not having a D diary, that would make me feel very dry."

At which point Holly and Phil struggled to hide their smirks.

Vanessa said that intimacy can mean lots of different things and that the sense of closeness you feel afterwards is worth "revving yourself up to be bothered."

Nicola argued that it could become enforced and that there would be lots of pressure - like there already is on anniversarys.

Holly said that it was really important for a relationship to have sex and make time for it, while Phil pointed to a survey that revealed mini golf got people in the mood.

But Vanessa didn't like that suggestion saying: "I'd rather have the sex than the sport."
