ITV This Morning's Dermot O'Leary told 'enough of that' as he's tipped for hit BBC One show after appearing in video with Alison Hammond

Dermot O'Leary has been told 'enough of that' as he found himself being tipped for a big BBC show after appearing in a video alongside Alison Hammond. The duo are currently appearing on screens on This Morning as the programme's usual Friday hosts step in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Alison, 48, and Dermot, 49, will be at the forefront of the ITV daytime show for the next two weeks as Holly, 42, and Phillip, 61, enjoy their usual Easter break. But as well as having fun on-screen with their line-up of famous guests and usual contributors from fashion to cooking, the pair are also enjoying spending time together off-screen.

Taking to Instagram following Tuesday's show (April 4), Alison was seen dragging Dermot in to join her in one of her dancing videos. The new Great British Bake Off co-host has previously revealed how she 'can't go' live on This Morning without co-host doing one thing before the cameras start rolling - and it wasn't dance.

"If Dermot doesn't sing to me before a show, then I can't go on," Alison previously shared. She then added to Closer Magazine ahead of her stint hosting the BAFTA Film Awards back in February: "So I'm going to have to have him phone me and sing before I do the BAFTAs, otherwise it just won't feel right."

But back to her latest video and Alison was seen busting some moves to Mary J Blidge which were cooly copied by her co-host and pal. "Tuesday Fun on @thismorning see you at 10 am @dermotoleary," Alison typed alongside the clip posted to her 1.3 million followers.

And it wasn't long before it was being flooded with hundreds of comments. @tasha.c.official said: "I love that you MAKE Dermot do this." @cqgardens commented: "Ok Dermot. That’s enough of that. (reaching for blood pressure tablets)." @nic.millingt0n replied: "Ah Dermott looks like he’s found his groove at last. You squeezed it out of him eventually. Keep dancing…..wrong show, same applies though, love to see you guys lovin’ life."

And speaking about the 'other show', @hollysegade posted: "Dermot needs to do strictly!!" But @jacquichesterton laughed: "This is stretching the bounds of Dermot's one dance move." And @natashamelissa__ asked: "And why haven’t these two been made the permanent This Morning hosts yet?"

There has previously been rumours that Alison and Dermot weren't gelling behind the scenes but have since gone on to disprove those claims. In June this year, a spokesman for This Morning were forced to confirm that the duo have become firm friends - and even socialise away from work together.

Alison has even previously shared how Dermot accompanied her to the doctors when she took her son during Dermot's planned visit to her Birmingham-based home. "So I was gonna cancel Dermot 'cause [her son] Aidan had a real sore throat," Alison said on a Christmas episode of Dish, a podcast hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett,

"And I just thought, you know what, I'll just take Aidan to the doctors, you know, Dermot can chill out in the house, whatever. Anyway, next thing I know, he was like, ‘I'm coming with you.’ I was like, ‘No, you really don't have to come with me,’ ‘No, I'm coming with you.’ Oh my god, it was hilarious. We got to the doctors, they were all like so starstruck by Dermot."
