ITV This Morning's Alison Hammond attempts to run off set in bizarre segment

This Morning's Alison Hammond attempted to run off set on today's program saying she was 'going to have a heart attack' during a fright night experience.

The TV personality regularly appears on the morning show to present travel segments and anniversary episodes.

And on today's show Alison joined the cast of stage production, ‘Night Of The Living Dead’.

But before she got her very scary makeover, she was given the fright of her life.

Opening the theatre doors to meet the show's director Benji Sperring, Alison was jump scared by a zombie.

Screaming at the top of her voice, Alison shouted: "I can't take no more, I can't take no more", whist attempting to run off.

She continued screaming as the zombie chased her down the hallway before saying: "Oh my god, I'm going to have a heart attack on TV guys.

"This is no longer funny, just leave me alone.

"Oh my god I just can't take no more".

Fans of the show found the whole scene hilarious, if a bit bizarre.

One wrote: "In hysterics at Alison."

Another said: "OH MY GOSH! Watching @AlisonHammond2 get scared by these spooky zombie's is amazing, I am in bits laughing!!"

A third agreed: "Actually loling here."
