ITV This Morning fans switch off in droves after "worst line-up ever"

This Morning fans switched off today after being unimpressed with the line-up for today's show.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford presented today's show - while Holly and Phil enjoy their summer holidays.

The show kicked off with a whole segment on new Prime Minister Boris Johnson's girlfriend Carrie Symonds.

There was a debate about what her role will be, followed by a whole segment on her fashion sense and then they even dedicated the food segment to her love of sustainable fishing.

Jean Paul Gaultier than appeared on the show - to speak about his new stage show about his life.

But some viewers were left less than impressed by the show and took to twitter in their droves to say they were turning off.

But it wasn't all bad as some enjoyed the show - especially the segment with the lauded fashion designer.

One said: "This is the worst #thismorning line up in a long time."

Another said: "Waiting for them to ask Jean Paul Gaultier what he thinks of Boris Johnson's girlfriend's fashion."

A third said: "Not only have we got to bear Ruth and Eamon but all this crap too glamourising Carrie. What a crock. Content editors need to follow Theresa may. Out."

And a fourth added: "A whole section about Carrie symonds. Yawn. Turning off."

However, one viewer said: "Had no idea Jean Paul Gaultier was 67! He looks amazing and has always been a hero of mine."

Another said: "No way is Jean Paul Gaultier 67 years old. No way. He looks amazing."

And a third said: "Love him he's a legend of fashion."

*This Morning continues tomorrow at 10:30am on ITV
