ITV This Morning fans spot bold message on guest's jumper

Monday's instalment of This Morning saw presenters Phillip Schofield and Josie Gibson meet disability activist and comedian Barbara Lisicki.

Barbara was on the popular ITV morning show to discuss an upcoming BBC drama about her life with former partner Alan Holdsworth. Their decades-long activism was instrumental in pressuring the government to act on issues of disability discrimination.

As Phillip welcomed her onto the show, he had to apologise. He explained the car company This Morning uses had been instructed to send an accessible car to collect her, but that they hadn't done so.

After adding that the delay meant changing the running order of the show, he said: "I'm so sorry. This just shows how far we still have to go."

Fans of the show were quick to praise Barbara for her work, while many were loving a message on her jumper. She wore a number of badges, as well as a red sticker that said "Kick the Tories out".

Taking to Twitter, Mr Greg said: "Love that she got on with that badge!", while Mahria said: "Kick out the Tories badge! [okay sign emoji]". Leanne Thomas said: "I'm amazed they let her wear that sticker", and Carly B said: "The producers must have missed that one."

Then Barbara Met Alan will be on BBC Two tonight (Monday) at 9pm

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and the ITV Hub
