ITV This Morning fans make same Holly Willoughby comment as her absence is explained by Phillip Schofield

Holly Willoughby only returned to This Morning last week after Christmas but the presenter won't be seen on the show for weeks.

The TV star has been replaced on the ITV daytime show by Rochelle Humes.

Holly, 40, was back on Dancing On Ice last night alongside Phillip Schofield but she is set to be off from This Morning for a 'few weeks'.

Rochelle, who last hosted the show with Vernon Kay before Christmas, will co-host alongside Phil.

Speaking at the start of Monday's show, Phillip, 59, explained: "Rochelle is here, as you can see. Keeping Holly’s seat warm.

"She's off with the Ice Man, making a show at the moment."

"Can’t wait to hang out," Rochelle replied before adding: "Keeping her seat warm."

But This Morning viewers took to Twitter to make the same comment.

"Holly on another break? I know she wasn’t off for long over Christmas! #thismorning," @Gm4nHere tweeted.

"Missed the start of the show… no Holly today? Anyone would think she hasn’t just had 6 weeks off #ThisMorning," @JenJenivive wrote.

@whoknows_bob added: "Holly having another day off, bloody hell she only worked four days last week!! I want her job #thismorning."

Holly has headed off to film a new entertainment reality show for the BBC which is inspired by the teachings of Dutch extreme athlete Wim Hof.

Rochelle is stepping in (ITV)

She'll host Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival on BBC One alongside comedian Lee Mack.

It will see a group of celebrities embark on an "epic adventure of self-improvement, and face a unique test of mental strength like no other".

Hof, also known as The Iceman, has earned high-profile fans such as Liam Hemsworth through his wellbeing course, dubbed the Wim Hof Method, and by taking on extreme challenges himself.

This includes running a half-marathon above the Arctic Circle barefoot, submerging himself in ice for one hour and 52 minutes, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro wearing only shorts and shoes.
