ITV The Voice's Anne-Marie reveals huge amount of tattoos with one a special tribute to Sir Tom Jones

Anne-Marie has shared some fresh details about herself during her latest appearance on The Voice UK. The chart-topping singer was back in her big red char alongside fellow coaches Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, and Will.I.Am on Saturday night (September 17).

The foursome were once again listening out for the best singers in the country to join their teams as the audition rounds continued in the ITV singing competition. But as ever, there was also a bit of chatting - and a bit of singing - from the famous faces.

Will.I.Am asked Welsh singing legend Sir Tom if he had any tattoos or piercings to which he said: "Not really. I don't like anything..." He stopped mid-sentence as the audience burst into laughter. He then continued: "I don't like anything permanent."

Olly and Will.IAm both said they had neither before Anne-Marie laughed and said: "What! I've got like 28 tattoos!" Troublemaker singer Olly then remembered his co-star had a permanent inking of Tom leading to Anne-Marie excitedly sharing the story.

"All of my tattoos are written by my friends and what they've taught me in life," she said before adding: "And I got Tom to write one." She then showed viewers at home a close-up of one which is inked in Sir Tom's handwriting.

The 31-year-old revealed it says 'we'll be okay' as the audience broke into 'awws' and applause. "Yes, and we will won't we?" Tom then said as he turned to the Rockabye and 2002 songstress.

Talking about her tattoos previously, Anne-Marie said a lot are written by people who have “taught her things”. She said she had “forgiveness” inked on her shoulder in her best friend's handwriting while her first tattoo was a rose on her left hip dud to her middle name being Rose.

The revelation comes just a couple of weeks after Anne-Marie was left in tears on the ITV programme when Sir Tom sang a song he recorded in memory of his late wife. Former X Factor star Olly asked his fellow musical superstars what song they'd sing if they were to audition for the competition.

Sir Tom suggested he'd perform a power ballad and the studio audience wasted no time in asking for the Welsh legend for a song. And things quickly became emotional as Sir Tom sang a song he dedicated to his late wife, Melinda Trenchard.

You could hear a pin drop as the 82-year-old belted out a vocally perfect rendition of I Won't Crumble With You If You Fall. Before singing, he explained: "Now this song is very important to me. I try to pick songs that mean a lot to me. And this song is trying to tell you that people that you love, sometimes they need to be backed up. You need to give them strength and encouragement."

And following the spinetingling performance, Sir Tom went on to explain that he had chosen the song for his album in memory of Melinda who tragically died in 2016 from lung cancer, at the age of 75. Tom , who met Melinda when he was just 12 years old before marrying four years later, left his fellow coaches in awe before he told the audience: "My wife, you know, she was dying of lung cancer, so I said, you know, I was always able to fix stuff, to do things if she needed me I was always there.

"She said, 'Don't crumble with me, don't fall now, you've done everything you can, you must carry on and do what you do.' So I put the song, when I heard it, it was like it was written for this situation. It's a lovely song." Olly has tears in his eyes at Sir Tom spoke and Anne-Marie couldn't hide her emotions as tears fell onto her cheeks.
