ITV The Masked Singer viewers convinced they can hear a Scouse accent from Queen Bee

Viewers of The Masked Singer are even more convinced of Queen Bee's identity now they recognised a Northern accent.

Fans believe that Queen Bee is Nicola Roberts, the Girls Aloud star, who grew up in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Clues include being famous in her youth, being something of an activist and being a lawmaker.

However the most obvious clue is that she has a Scouse twang to her voice.

@LD7290 said: " You can literally hear the Lverpool accent. Queen Bee is defos Nicola Roberts #TheMaskedSinger"

@gurlbuhbye agreed: " MaskedSinger feel ashamed of anyone who just heard the clear Scouse accent in Queen Bee’s voice and still guessing someone other than Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud. Open your ears! #QueenBee"

While a third said: " Queen Bee is Nicola Roberts how can they not tell that's a clear Scouse accent. Love her!!!"

And @hkeebs1 tweeted: " Queen Bee is Nicola Roberts, she has a Scouse accent! Little Mix references throwing me off, but she has written with them!"

As well as her singing career, Nicola Roberts has campaigned against underage use of tanning beds, and worked with MPs to produce a bill banning under 18s from sunbeds.

Most recently, Duck and Unicorn were unmasked and confirmed as Skin and Jack Shears.

The Masked Singer is on ITV at 7pm on Saturdays.
