ITV The Games star Phoenix Gulzar-Brown accused of 'cheating' after on-air clash

ITV’s The Games faced a fix row from viewers on Wednesday after a claim Mel B's daughter Phoenix was 'wrongly awarded' third place in the 50m breaststroke instead of Chelcee Grimes.

Tensions were high during Wednesday's episode of the new ITV game show as the pair got into a heated argument minutes into the episode.

Phoenix Gulzar-Brown was left annoyed after finding out Chelcee wanted to re-check yesterday's 50m breaststroke results after a tight finish between the pair.

Things quickly got heated as Phoenix then went on to accuse Chelcee of previously "shoving" and "pushing" her during the 100m hurdles on Monday's opening show.

Speaking to the camera, the daughter of Spice Girls said: "So they’re saying they want to re-check - because they are saying Chelcee came third and I didn’t. That’s bull c**p! I busted my a*s on that."

Standing with her fellow contestants, Phoenix gestured over to Chelcee and claims: "She pushed me yesterday." To which Chelcee hit back and replied with: "I love the girl, but I’m not getting robbed like that."

Phoenix went on to claim: "I played fair, you didn’t play fair yesterday, man" with Chelcee exclaiming: "Oh, you’re bringing that in!"

Phoenix then adds: "That’s fair play. If you’re going to re-check this, then re-check yesterday."

Chelcee then heads over to Phoenix as she asks: "What happened?" with Phoenix claiming: "What do you mean? You gave me a shove!"

Later in the show, presenter Holly Willoughby couldn’t help but make a cheeky comment while reading out the current leader bored and said: "Chelcee are you happy with that." While co-host Freddie Flintoff jumped in and said: "You stirring the pot."

But viewers of the show were convinced Phoenix "cheated" after doing "freestyle strokes" in the breaststroke challenge and went straight to Twitter to share their reaction.

@hollywillslove Tweeted: "What about the fact Phoenix looked across, saw she wasn’t going to beat Chelcee and did an illegal stroke or two at the finish? Those weren’t breaststrokes! #TheGames #cheat."

@KazP19 commented: "Surely if you need to put both hands on @ChelceeGrimes still hasn't finished the swimming race? #TheGames."

@davey_p84 said: "The race was breaststroke and Phoenix did a couple of freestyle strokes at the end, is that not a DQ #TheGames."

@bazz83 wrote: "Phoenix Gulzar-Brown being described as a "Global Influencer" was the funniest thing I heard all day! #TheGames."

@JayHBaker94 joked: "Chuckling at Phoenix and Chelcee have no throws. After their squabble on the swimming. #TheGames."

While @moore95_pamela added: "Chelcee, Phoenix...grow up. This isn't the school playground #TheGames."
