Fans of ITV show The Chase fans were furious on Monday after it was replaced by another of Bradley Walsh's programmes.
Instead of the usual 5pm slot for The Chase, viewers were treated to a new series of Cash Trapped, the Liverpool Echo reports.
This is a game of strategy, knowledge and courage where six contestants set out to win big money.
However, earning cash is just the beginning.
The contestant who accumulates the most gets the opportunity to take their money and run.
If they succeed, everyone else leaves empty-handed – so their opponents must try to stop them.
Once you set foot in the studio, the toughest challenge is getting out again - because until there’s a winner, you’re 'Cash Trapped'.
But many viewers of The Chase were not happy that their favourite show had been knocked off the TV schedule.
Laura tweeted: " #TheChase isn’t on for a whole month now it’s that #CashTrapped noooo!."
Becky said: "Finding out #thechase has been taken off air is a worse feeling than dropping your ice cream as a kid! What are you doing @ITV ?"
Dee wrote: "Ruined my already ruined week."
And Jack said: "WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE #chase ."
However, other viewers were more than happy to watch Cash Trapped instead.
Alistair wrote: "Yes #cashtrapped is back instead of the boring chase."
Gordon tweeted: "Absolutely love this quiz Going For Gold only more cut that and brutal ."
ITV haven't announced how long The Chase will be off air for, but one of the Chasers has shed some light on the situation.
Anne Hegerty replied to a fan on Twitter who asked when The Chase would be starting again and said that Cash Trapped would be on for five weeks.
She said: "CT is only on for five weeks, and this year we have TWO Christmas specials for you!!"
The fan asked if season 13 of the Chase would start in December or January and Anne replied: " I have no idea, transmission schedule and recording schedule are quite seperate."
