The Chase star Jenny Ryan is much-loved by fans of the ITV gameshow as a sassy and quick-witted quizzer.
So viewers were having none of it when she was insulted on Twitter.
And Jenny, who is known on the show as The Vixen, wasn't taking the comment lying down.

And Jenny, from Bolton, clapped back: "Literally my job, babex"
Her fellow quizzers piled in to show support while poking fun at the exchange.
Anne Hegerty, who is 'The Governess' on The Chase, told the tweeter: "Slightly affronted that you think I'm NOT a complete smarta***."
And 'The Menance' Darragh Ennis joked: "Ooh, I'm the least favourite? Finally I beat you at something!"
Jenny then pointed out: "My favourite bit of the Tweet is his attempt and failure to tag you."
Viewers jumped to her defence including @captaintau who said: "'Come across as.' Well maybe it’s because all of you are.
"Isn’t that the point?"
@AliDurham75 told Jenny: "Well we love you in our house and very much admire your smartness and quick humour."
JoanneBurnell84 tweeted: "I personally think she comes across the most lovely. Sound lass."
@ilovemyboys1988 asked: "How could they say this about our Jenny!! She’s lovely! It’s The Chase.
"She’s supposed to be competitive! xx it’s a competition! I love you jenjen."
And @pixiewilo said: "Literally the reason I like you! Smart powerful woman front and centre standing in her own knowledge that she rocks… I’m here for exactly that.
